Bruce Freckleton July 8, 2024 Director, Community Development Department City of Meridian Dear Mr. Freckleton, I just reviewed the updated site plan for the development on the lot at 200 E Rosalyn Dr., posted July 8, 2024. To get straight to the point, this is basically what most of the people in the area have been asking for since the beginning. I’m pleased the Binghams have finally listened to the City Council and come up with a plan that fits the neighborhood. While there were no new eleva?ons, I hope I can assume that they s?ll plan on building single-story homes in the style of the previous eleva?ons. 1 However, I would ask for two small changes. 1) Can they move the one home on the le? back far enough to save the walnut tree at the corner of the property? That tree is an excellent addi?on to the street and adds value to the home. 2) Make the driveways wide enough to accommodate three vehicles at each home. This is because with the three homes to the east (San Gorgonio HOA) there are o?en three or four cars parked on the street because there isn’t enough space for them to park off the street. I believe wider driveways would also be a welcome addi?on to the new homeowners as well. I look forward to your response. Respec?ully, Ken Freeze 195 E Rosalyn Dr. Meridian, ID 83642 2
