Simison City Council Members: City Council Members: Joe BortonJohn Overton Liz Strader, Vice President Liz StraderJessicaPerreault Doug Taylor Brad HoaglunLuke Cavener John Overton Anne Little Roberts Luke Cavener April 19, 2024 MEMORANDUM TO:Initial Point Gallery subcommittee FROM:Cassandra Schiffler, Arts and Culture Coordinator RE:Feedback and ListeningSession with the Idaho Commission on the Arts at IPG Background The Idaho Commission on the Arts(ICA)is planning their work for the next five years, and earlier this year, they put out a call for feedback in the form of a survey,andthey encouraged the public to respond. You can find the survey here.Theyalsoasked for peopleand organizations to host listening sessions. Staffresponded about potentially hosting one of these listening sessions at IPG, and the ICA has respondedand thinksthatIPG would work well for hosting one of these listening sessions.The ICA discussed scheduling with Staff and hosting the sessionafter the July MAC meeting, so we have tentatively scheduledthis session to be held on July 11 from 5:30-6:30. This event is still in the early planning stages, and Staff will keep commissioners updatedwith any progress. Recommendations No recommendation at this time. Informational item only. Mayor Robert E.
