Thank you for reaching out and sharing your thoughts and concerns regarding the Firenze Plaza area.
While your comments didn’t specifically reference a proposed project, it appears your email is related to
the news article regarding a proposed drive through restaurant in that location. While there is currently
no formal application of this project requiring a Council public hearing, the Mayor and Council are
generally cautioned on individual conversations outside of any public forum, as there is a likely chance
that an application for this can come before the Council in the future regarding Firenze Plaza. That
terminology and process can be confusing sometimes, so I am copying Bill Parsons from our Planning
Department should you have additional questions regarding this issue.
All of that said, I have also copied the City Clerk, Chris Johnson, so that he can add your comments and
email to the public record.

Question/Comment: At the location near the new Albertsons in South Meridian on Eagle and Amity
would love to have a sit down restaurant/tavern not fast food. Would love a place for people to gather
and maybe sit outside
