HI Samantha,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your thoughts and concerns about the proposed project. Your email has been
received by the office and we will make sure to share it with the Mayor and Council. While there is currently no formal
application of this project requiring a Council public hearing, the Mayor and Council are generally cautioned on
individual conversations outside of any public forum, as there is a chance that an application for this can come before
the Council in the future. That terminology and process can be confusing sometimes, so I am happy to chat with you if
you have additional questions and/or get you to the planning staff if need be.
All of that said, I have copied the City Clerk, Chris Johnson, so that he can add your comments and email to the public
record, and I have also copied the City Planning Manager so this record can also be added to the project file.

Question/Comment: Please do not allow a McDonalds to go by Albertsons on S Eagle Rd and Amity. This neighbor does
not need a fast food restaurant or all the traffic that comes with it. People have plenty of unhealthy fast food options.

Having one in this neighborhood is going to create issues in our beautiful, safe neighborhood. We already have a
homeless man living at the parks around here and a McDonald will just encourage more of these types of behaviors.
Don’t make Meridian more like Boise.
