Thank you for reaching out and sharing your thoughts and concerns about the proposed project. Your
email has been received by the office and we will make sure to share it with the Mayor and Council. So
you are aware, the Mayor and the City Council are prohibited from commenting on a project that is an
active application of this sort outside of the public hearing process.
I have copied the City Clerk, Chris Johnson, so that he can add your comments and email to the public
record, and I have also copied the City Planning Manager so the record can also be added to the project
file.

Question/Comment: Dear Mayor's Office,
I am writing to express my concern about the proposed construction of a McDonald's restaurant behind
my house (Amity and Eagle). I strongly oppose this plan because I believe that the smell of grease and
the potential increase in traffic will have a negative impact on the quality of life in our neighborhood.
I kindly request that the city reconsider this proposal and consider alternative locations for the
restaurant. I believe that allowing a fast-food establishment in such close proximity to residential areas
will not be in the best interest of the community.
We have lived in our house for 12 years and used to back up to an open field. It's enough to have a
grocery store behind us. Please do not allow a McDonalds behind us as well!
Thank you for taking the time to consider my concerns. I hope that the city will take the necessary steps
to address this issue.
