Currently VRT runs the Route 30— Pine down 10 Mile. VRT has also identified both Franklin and 10 mile as key transit routes into the future as identified in the long-range transit plan Valley Connect 2.0 valleyconnect2 apr18 final.pdf (vallevregionaltransit.org) (see page 49). As this area will continue to be developed with a mix of uses, bus stops would be beneficial to riders in this location. As a result, VRT suggests the following: VRT suggests the following conditions: 1. Valley Regional Transit requests 1 standard bus stop (size medium) with a concrete pad 10'x28' be poured between the sidewalk and curb on Ten Mile (location identified below). The purpose of the pad is to provide an ADA compliant boarding/alighting area. The concrete pad will allow VRT to schedule a stop there as part of current and future route planning and move amenities such as signage and a bench onsite in accordance with the Bus Stop Typology Kit of Parts (page 22).
