EXPANSION INTERNATIONAL
NARRATIVE
Request to rezone 0.57 acres of land from R-8 zoning district to the 0-T zoning district for the
purpose of remodeling the existing residence into a retail store. Remodel will include handicap
bathroom access and ramp for store access. As well, new flooring, paint, landscape and other
minor interior makeovers. Access will be off of NW 111 Street and parking with handicap stall
will be at the back of the retail store. Walk and handicap ramp will provide access to front door.
` >. The retail store will resale upscale women's clothing,
accessories and home decor items. These items will be
donated by local area residents in Boise, Meridian and
fi f. Nampa. The store will be open 3-4 days per week and will
have volunteers to manage the sorting, pricing and

stocking of items. The proceeds from the store will
T provide matching scholarships for students in Kenya,
_ Africa to attend high school. The name of the store will
be Two Mustard Seeds and is a program of Expansion International, a non-profit organization in
Boise, Idaho. The house at 817 Meridian will offer a unique shopping experience as we marry
this beautiful old house with a makeover and new furnishings, creating a place where people
will find good value items all while they shop for a cause.
After holding annual Two Mustard Seed Resale events for the past 10 years, we have built up a
brand presence and have many people who donate and volunteer to make this possible. We
will leverage this and believe it will carry over to the Meridian store, making this retail store a
success.
