SPECIAL JOINT MEETING-CITY COUNCIL & PLANNING & ZONING
APRIL 30, 1991
The Special Joint Meeting of the City Council & Planning & Zoning Members was called
to order by Mayor Grant Kingsford at 6:15 p.m.:
Members Present: Ron Tolsma, Bob Giesler, Bert Myers, Max Yerrington, Jim Johnson
Mae Alidjani, Jim Shearer, Tim Hepper, Charlie Rountree:

Mayor Kingsford: This meeting was called for the purpose of having a Joint Workshop
between the Council & Planning & Zoning to discuss various i terns that have corne up
that need sane type of action taken and sane possible amendments~ to the Zoning and
Developnent Ordinance: The upcaning request by the City of Boise to change their Area
of Impact was discussed and it was the concensus of the Members assembled that it
should not cross Eagle Road. The issue of new type containers for the trash collection
was brought up and if this was on an optional basis there did not seern to be any
real objection. Conditional Use Pennits and the Fees were discussed and it was
the decision not to allow Conditional Use Penni ts in residential zones. other i terns
discussed were the need for rental units in the City, tiling of ditches in new
sul:x1i visions, various other minor corrections to the Zoning & Develorment Ordinance.
The City Attorney was instructed to prepare a Petition to amend the Zoning & Develorment
Ordinace for the Planning & Zoning Commission to reflect these items:
