To Whom it May Concern,
This letter is in regard to the Conditional Use Permit for Joni
West . Her application for a new daycare in my neighbor. I am
apposed to this day care . Here are the reasons why. The city of
Meridian approved a day care across the street from this location a
couple of years ago and I apposed that one, because of there not
being a sizable yard for the kids to play in. That would mean they
would play in the street. This person was approved for,(I think three
children) she has exceeded that number on numerous of occasions.
This person assured the city that her place would be gated and
fenced when the children were out playing .This has not happened.
Thev are plavina in the street. If the city can not look after a day
care with a few children how can they look after a day care that is
asking to house 12 - 24 children. That also it too many children for
that site.
I know that mothers that want to stay home and look after
their own children need an income to help with the expenses but
that site is too small for a day care of that size.
