Thanks for the follow up. We will pull the proje.ft.
Sharon let me know if you need a letter or this is adequate notice.

Jonathan,
If you withdraw your application you would essentially be starting over; the City will have to send
out new notices for the project and you'd have to wait about 45 days from submittal for a new
hearing date. However, I will talk with Amanda to see how much time she has spent processing
the current application. If she hasn't spent too much time processing it, and the changes you make
with the re-submittal are not significant (i.e. - square footage ofbldg and site location don't
change) then we can probably just charge you an additional hearing fee of $142 and use a majority
of the paper work you submitted with the current CD (the $142 covers the notice fees for the
Clerk). As far as I'm concerned you can just submit a new site plan and revised letter and we can
use the other paperwork submitted with your current application for the re-submittal.
I don't know what changes you are making/considering, but I would recommend that you just ask
to be continued to October 5th (or later) to make the necessary changes (again, provided the
square footage of the bldg doesn't change from what we sent out in the notice to neighbors, and
the site is the same). This way we don't have to worry about withdraw1, re-submittal and
additional fees. Clear as mud? Let me know if we need to discuss further.

If we pull the application does that require submitting a new CU application or simply renotice based on the
existing CU. Put another way would we effectively be starting over if we pulled the CU.

Jonathan,
I got your message regarding the situation, thank you.
We cannot table an item indefinitely. You can request to continue to a date certain (need two
months? we can do that..) or request to pull the application from the agenda, and renotice at a later
date when you notify staff that you have a definite 'go' on the application. You would have to pay for
additional mailings/noticing fees for the second meeting date.
Please let staff know how you would like to proceed. Thank you!

Jonathan,
Do you mind faxing a memo requesting a continuance to a date certain? I know September is not a
possibility. Second October meeting? Thank you.
