Subject: RE: Request for Mayor and Council
Gail,
Thank you for reaching out to the Mayor’s Office and Council with your feedback. While the Council voted to approve
the project in principal this past Tuesday night, the project is still an open application as the findings and conditions of
approval are still to be developed. This prevents the Mayor and Council from answering directly and providing any
feedback that is not part of the public record.
I have copied the City Clerk on this email so that this email and your feedback and comments are entered into the
project record.
Sincerely,
Dave Miles | Chief of Staff

Subject: TOO MUCH BUILDING IN MERIDIAN
Message: I just read that "The Avani subdivision would be located in Meridian southeast of Franklin and Black Cat roads.
It would bring 256 single-family homes into an area with mostly apartments and town houses." When do we stop
1
building? We do not have the infrastructure to deal with more traffic, schools, or businesses. The apartment complex
buildings are such an eyesore. It's almost an embarrassment to our (what was) a small neighborhood community. When
does the building stop? It's very sad.
