AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN AMENDING AND CHANGING THE
ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF MERIDIAN WHICH IS
GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS LOTS 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 OF CHAPIN
SUBDIVISION NO.2, BOISE MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS~ the City Council and the Mayor of the City of
Meridian, Idaho, have concluded that it is in the best interest
of said City to amend and change the zoning from R-8 Residential
to R-40 High Density Residential, for the follo\'Jing described
parcel:
Lots Numbered Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten
and Eleven of Chapin Subdivision No.2 to Meridian, Ada
County, Idaho, according to the official plat thereof on file
and of record in Book 11 of Plats, at page 646 thereof, in
the office of the County Recorder of Ada County, Idaho.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho:
Section 1.
That the aforementioned real property which
is described as follows:
Lots Numbered Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight,
Nine, Ten and Eleven of Chapin Subdivision No.2 to
Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, according to the official
plat thereof on file and of record in Book 11 of Plats,
at page 646 thereof, in the office of the County
Recorder of Ada County, Idaho.
be, and the same is rezoned from R-8 Residential to R-40 High
Density Residential, and Section 11-2-425, Official Zoning Maps
is hereby amended to reflect the same.
Section 2.
That the requirement for installing and
constructing curb, gutter and sidewalks along 2 1/2 Street,
adjacent to the subject property, shall not be waived but Shall

be deferred unti 1 such time as 2 1/2 Street is re-constructed
either by Ada County Highway District or through a Local
Improvement District, or otherwise, but the requirement shall
continue to be a requirement of the owner of the subject property
to participate in that construction cost.
Section 3.
EFFECTIVE DATE:
There being an emergency,
which emergency is hereby declared to exist, this Ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval as required by law.
