I was quite disappointed with the results of the meeting tonight. I don't feel like my concerns were heard. The council members kept
speaking to the transition between the proposed development and The Keep to the north without making mention of the transition
between my 5 acre property to the east. I found a very insulating when the CBH representative said something to the effect of "we
don't know in the future the 5 acres to the east could rezone to a higher density so we are just transitioning with that potential
zoning." If he were to actually view the property in person he would see how ridiculous that claim is, not to mention when I
purchased that property I signed an agreement that I would never put any more houses on the lot and if I did I would be monetarily
penalized to the original seller. I'm just asking that I received the same courtesy as The Keep with the a transition zone of larger lots
instead of small .2 acre lots as proposed bordering my 5 acre lot. I positioned my home west facing near the west border of the 5
acres so each and every one of those homes is going to be right in my front yard. I'm attaching a picture of the beautiful trees at the
east border of the proposed development which are scheduled to be destroyed. There is currently a berm at the east border of that
property which gives some level of privacy but in the proposal that is removed along with the trees therefore I will also have to
spend a significant amount of money to create a new privacy berm. With how many homes they're packing into that acreage the
least they can do is put less density right along the borders to the east and north or even even better would be preserving those
beautiful trees.
