To Whom it May Concern,
I am a?aching this le?er of concern regarding the requested zoning change to the parcels at the proposed Reveille Ridge
Project in South Meridian.
My wife and I along with all the neighbors in The Keep subdivision just to the north Strongly Oppose the Planning
Commi?ee increasing the density of these parcels. The City of Meridian’s Comprehensive Plan already has appropriate
zoning of low density and medium density and we would like to see the Commi?ee keep the current zoning in place.
This will add too much traffic to our neighborhood and the arterials that surround us.
Thank you so much for your ?me and considera?on. I will be a?ending the Planning Commi?ee mee?ng on February
th
15 to share my concern as well.
Sincerely,
Dave and Leah White

TO: Meridian City Planning and Zoning Commi?ee February 10, 2024
REGARDING: Upcoming P&Z Commi?ee Mee?ng on February 15, 2024
REFERENCE: Reveal Ridge Permit No H-2023-0050
Dear Commi?ee members,
My name is Dave White, and my wife and I currently live at 2884 E Darcy Dr in “The Keep” just north of
the proposed Reveille Ridge project.
I am wri?ng you this le?er of concern for the proposed rezone request that is being reviewed at the
th
upcoming planning and zoning hearing on February 15. We are not in support of the request to
change the zoning to a higher density than what is currently allowed for.
We love South Meridian and understand that development is a given in this growing part of the
community. We understand that the land around us was likely to be developed but we were encouraged
by the City of Meridian’s Comprehensive Plan and lower density zoning around us.
There is already a traffic issue in this area, and despite the new upgrades coming to Lake Hazel and Eagle
intersec?on, we do not feel it is appropriate for the Commi?ee to upzone the property to the south of
us. CBH homes is a very experienced developer; their team can easily use the same resources as we do
to check zoning where they buy parcels for development.
We already have an appropriate amount of Medium and Medium-High density zoning on Lake Hazel at
Locust Grove and Eagle Rd. Our neighborhood and the neighbors we have around us in low density
zoned areas want the communi?es developed in accordance with the current zoning code.
We feel that the City’s Comprehensive Plan sets a vision for this area of South Meridian that we can all
be proud of, but we strongly appose increasing density of the zoning for this project. We are very
concerned about traffic on the major arterials and the cut through traffic that will eventually come
through our neighborhood where our children play.
We appreciate you ?me and considera?on and look forward to your vote of denying the zoning change
for this project.
Thank you,
Dave and Leah White
