Dear Mr. Berg:
The Idaho T~nsportation Department (ITO) appreciates the opportunity to
comment" on the aboVe refe'renced application.
Based on the proposed access at ~ mile point south of the intersection of Ustick
Road alid SH 55, ITD would be agreeable to approving the access application if.
conditions outlined in attached letters are acc:eptable to the applicant. In addition,
the applicant must re~ive a variance to the City of Meridian Development Code
before ITO can consider the proposed access.
Prior to ~ny approval of the application, conditions outlined by ITD in the attached
letterS should be resolved.

Your Pennit application was reconsidered at our March 14.2006 district pennits meeting.
At this meeting, the following determinations WEQ made:
1. Any desired access onto Eagle Road shall comply with the Eagle Road Concept
Report (a copy is available upon request). Improvements to Eagle Road will be a
reqo)~ment for any approved access. The necessary improvements will be
ctetennined once access detBnnination Is made. If your deve~ments are able to
comply with the Eagle Road Concept Report. the District Permits COmmittee
would be agreeable to recommending approval of the requested access point.
2. Any desired a~s~ 'reqUires a variance to the city of Meridian Unified
Development Cod8.
Please provide Infonnation detailing how your developments will comply with the Eagle
Road Concept Report. A1so~ proVide written notification 'fram the city of Meridian once a -
