Project Description: A variance was previously approved for Hightower Subdivision that allowed access
to/from the subdivision via State Highway 20/26. A condition of approval was placed on the variance at
the suggestion of ACHD that as part of the Development Agreement for this property, "The
owner/developer consents to the vacation of Jericho Road, and agrees to submit an application for
Vacation or Exchange of Right-of-way for Jericho Road to the City of Meridian and to ACHD prior to or
concurrent with suhmittal ofthe final plat application." The developer has complied with the above-noted
condition of approval of the variance and submitted the vacation request along with the final plat
application.
Staff Recommendation: Approval; No findings required; please direct legal staff to prepare letter to
ACHD regarding your decision.
