Re: Chipotle Restaurant at 1737 S. Meridian Road—Trip Generation
A proposed development consisting of a Chipotle Fast-Food Restaurant and an AFC Medical Clinic is located
along State Highway 69,just south of W Overland Road in Meridian, ID.The purpose of this letter is to provide
the trip generation details per the request of the Idaho Transportation Department.
The estimated number of trips determined with the ITE Trip Generation, 111h Edition, is shown in the table
below.The Chipotle Restaurant is 2,290 SF and Land Use Code 934—Fast-Food Restaurant with Drive-
Through. With Chipotle closed during the AM peak and the drive-through just a pickup window, the average
weekday trips shown below is an overestimation as this is not the traditional fast-food restaurant with drive-
through. Additionally, Chipotle estimates 100 to 150 vehicles/day(200 to 300 trips/day) based on other
locations.The AFC Clinic is 4,840 SF and Land Use Code 630—Clinic. See attached figure for layout.
