Dear Mayor de Weerd and Meridian City Counei I Members:
Farwesl has before the City of Meridian applications for annexation/rezone and
preliminary-plat for Tanana Valley (File No. AZ-06-0 15/PP-06-013). This project;s
located on the southeast comer of Victory Road and Meridian Road and is approximately
182 acres. There is a seven (7) acre existing home-site included in these applications tOt
annexation/rezone and preliminary plat. H is shown as Lot 1 Block 9 on OUT preliminary
plat. The overall developnlent density of Tanana Valley does not include this seven (7)
acre land parcel.
l~'a.rwest does intend to redevelop this site at a future time when a suitable urban
redevelopment use has been detennincd. At that time, Farwest will submit a re-
subdivision plan on the 7 acres for preliminary-plat along with separm~ landscape plan.
At the July Illh hearing, Farwest stated the property wouldmosl1ikely be re-subdivided
and this letter is to make suro there is be no confusion
