The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) appreciates the opportunity to comment on the above
referenced application.
Per the City's August 8th, 2006 Public Hearing notice, regarding the application for Hightower
Subdivision, ITD offers the following comment(s):
. ITD has received a permit application for access to US 20/26 (Chinden Blvd.) for this
development and is currently being reviewed.
. Any desired access on to US 20/26(Chinden Blvd.) requires a permit from ITD prior to
construction
. Improvements to US 20/26 (Chinden Blvd.) should be a condition of approval.
. Cross.connectivity with adjacent owners should be implemented by the developer.
. Noise abatement (berms, fences, etc.) is the responsibility ofthe developer and shall be
constructed off of the state right-of-way, see enclosed Noise Abatement.
