The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) appreciates the opportunity to provide comments regarding the planned
Tanner Creek development. Please see the below comments:
1. This project abuts I-84.
2. Direct access to the State Highway system has not been requested with this development.
3. Based on ITD's Proportionate Share Memo dated 04/08/2020:
a. An auxiliary lane between Meridian Rd Interchange and Eagle Rd Interchange is needed.
b. There is a proportionate share aspect associated with the development.
4. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway.
5. The Idaho Administrative Procedures Act (IDAPA) 39.03.60 governs advertising along the State highway
system. The applicant may contact Justin Pond, Program Manager for ITD's Headquarters Right -of -Way Section
at (208) 334-8832 for more information.
ITD reserves the right to make further comments upon review of any submitted documentation.
