The Idaho Transportation Department ( ITD ) appreciates the opportunity to provide comments regarding the planned
Village Leadership Academy located at 3006 Goldstone Drive, Meridian , Idaho . Please see the below comments :
1 . This project does not abut the State Highway system .
2 . ITD has concerns with traffic impacts at the interchange of 1 -84 and Eagle Rd (SH - 55 ) due to school ' s location
and trip generations .
3 . Based on the provided trip generation numbers and the proposed land use type ( IDAPA 39 , 03 , 42, Section
400 . 03 . f and Table 2 ) the submittal of a Traffic Impact Study (TIS ) is required .
4 . Idaho Code 40 - 1910 does not allow advertising within the right- of-way of any State highway .
5 . The Idaho Administrative Procedures Act ( IDAPA) 39 . 03 . 60 governs advertising along the State highway
system . The applicant may contact Justin Pond , Program Manager for ITD' s Headquarters Right- of-Way Section
at ( 208 ) 334- 8832 for more information .
ITD reserves the right to make further comments upon review of any submitted documentation .
