ORDINANCE NO.~~ ~
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND CHANGING THE ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF MERIDIAN WHICH IS GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS
A PORTION OF SECTION 18, IN TOvJNSHIP 3 NORTH, RANGE 1 EAST,
BOISE MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayor of the City of
Meridian, Idaho, have concluded that it is in the best interest
of said City to amend and change the zoning from (C-C)
Community Business District to (C-G) General Retail and Service
Commercial, for the land described in Section 1 of this
Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayot' and City
Council of the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho:
Section 1.
That the real property, \'Jhich is described
as follo\'Js:
A tract of land situated in the South 1/2 of the Southwest
1/4 of Section 18, Township 3 North, Range 1 East, Boise
Meridian, Ada County, Idaho and more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at a brass cap marking the Southwest Corner of
Government Lot 4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 18, thence
North 8904313211 East 1343.69 feet along the southerly boundary
of the said South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 18, which
is also the centerline of Overland Road to a point~ thence North
000441 5811 East a distance of 40.01 feet to a steel pin on the
northerly right-of-way of said Overland Road also said point
being the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Thence continuing North 0004415811 East a distance of
1032.33 feet to a steel pin marking a point on the southerly
right-of-way line of Ramp B-C of Interstate Highway 80 North~
Federal Aid Project No. I-80N-l(74)44,
Thence South 89016153" West a distance off 65.66 feet along
the southerly right-of-way Ramp B-C of Interstate Highway 80
North to a highway right-of-way monument said point being a
point of curvature,
Thence westerly along said southerly right-of-way line of
Ramp B-C of Interstate Highway 80 North a distance of 180.68
feet along the arc of a circular curve to the left, said curve
having a central angle of 05036'41", a radius of 1844.86 feet, a
chord bearing South 86028141" West, a chord distance of 180.61
feet,
Thence leaving said southerly right-of-way South 00044'58"
West a distance of 561.65 feet to a point of curvature,
Thence southeasterly a distance of 80.50 feet along the arc
of a circular curve to the left, said curve having a central
angle of 30044158", a radius of 150.00 feet. a chord bearing of
South 140371 31" East, a chord distance of 79.54 feet to a
point of tangency,
Thence South 300001 00" East a distance of 110.26 feet to a
point of curvature,
Thence southeasterly a distance of 112.70 feet along the
arc of a circular curve to the right, said curve having a
central angle of 30044' 58", a radius of 210.00 feet, a chord
bearing of South 140371 31" East, a chord distance of 111.35
feet to a point of tangency,
Thence South 000441 58" West a distance of 148.66 feet to a
point of curvature,
Thence southeasterly a distance of 47.66 feet along the arc
of a circular curve to the left, said curve having a central
angle of 910011 26", a radius of 30.00 feet, a chord bearing of
South 440451 45" East, a chord distance of 42.80 feet to a point
of tangency,

along the northerly right-of-way of Overland Road to the POINT
OF BEGINNING.
be, and the same is hereby rezoned from (C-C) Community Business
District to (C-G) General Retail and Service Commercial, and
Section 11-2-425, Official Zoning Maps are hereby amended to
reflect the same.
