The Idaho Transportation Department ( ITD ) appreciates the opportunity to provide comments regarding the planned
development located at 2700 N Eagle Rd, Meridian , Idaho . Please seethe below comments :
1 . This project abuts Highway SH - 55 .
2 . Direct access to the State Highway system has been requested for this development .
3 . Per ITD' s TIS response letter from April 26, 2023 , the following mitigations are needed prior to development
buildout .
a . N Eagle Rd ( SH -55 )
i . Developer shall follow all guidelines set forth in the Apartments Traffic Striping Conceptual
Plan , ITD acceptance dated Dec . 4, 2019 .
ii . Developer shall install a northbound right-turn lane for a new approach , 520 ft . in length .
b . ITD is currently awaiting the resubmittal of the revised Traffic Impact Study (TIS ) .
4 . Idaho Code 40- 1910 does not allow advertising within the right- of-way of any State highway.
5 . The Idaho Administrative Procedures Act ( IDAPA ) 39 . 03 . 60 governs advertising along the State highway
system . The applicant may contact Justin Pond , Program Manager for ITD' s Headquarters Right- of-Way Section

ITD reserves the right to make further comments upon review of any submitted documentation .
