Idaho St. Meridian, ID 83642 , Re: City Council Hearing Baraya subdivision AZ-06025 Gentlemen: A proposed subdivision of 406 single family units in an area between Franklin Road and I-84 seems odd, considering the balance of the area is being looked at for, commercial development, especially a major ,retail outlet. Should, further residential development in this area be, deferred until the city has completed its newly launched land use study? The transition from a residential subdivision to commercial' seems awkward. I,f the decision is made to allow the subdivision to go forward, ,we would ask that access into the subdivision -from Franklin Road line up with Silver Oaks drive to the North. This particular road (Silver Oaks Drive) is a public road- used by the Silver Oaks subdivision ,and Cherry Lane- Ch,.istian Church.
