Good Morning David,
The UDC Code changed last year requiring more open space and amenities for multi-family developments in
additional to what was provided with the Stapleton Subdivision DA. This project required 2 amenities from
the list and additional open space per the UDC. The Pre-App notes state to comply with the specific use
standards for multi-family developments UDC 11-4-3-27 which states the requirements for open space and
amenities.

Good morning, Stacy. Thank you for sending over the staff report. We have read through it and have a couple
comments.
1. The Owner wants the report to be clear that this site is part of the overall Stapleton community. It is a lot in
Stapleton Sub.
2. It is our understanding, and was confirmed during the pre-app, that no additional amenities are required for this
lot. All the open space and amenities are provided in the overall development. Are you simply wanting some
sort of confirmation that they are done, or what is the intent of the comment here?

Attached is the staff report for Stapleton Apartments. This item is scheduled to be on the Commission agenda on July 20,
2023. The public hearing will be held at City Hall, 33 E. Broadway Avenue, beginning at 6:00 pm. You may attend in
person or virtually via Zoom – the link/phone number to join the meeting is located at the top of the meeting agenda.
Please call or e-mail with any questions.
Please submit any written response you may have to the staff report to the City Clerk’s office
(comment@meridiancity.org) and me as soon as possible. If you have a presentation you’d like to present at the public
hearing, please send it to the City Clerk’s office no later than 12:00 pm the day of the hearing.
