To whom it may concern,
New Horizon Academy is planning a ground up one-story day-care facility to be located in the Victory
Commons Development. The building will be 10,000 square feet and will include two fenced
playgrounds and associated parking. Adjacent developments include Saltzer Heath Urgent Care Clinic
to the north and WestVet Urgent Care clinic to the south. Victory Common Condos are located east
of the site.
The current zoning of Lot 2 is C-G General Commercial. The proposed day care use will require a
conditional use permit. The lot is currently undeveloped but the driveway to Meridian Road is existing
as it serves the adjacent developments. All utilities are stubbed to the site and stormwater flows will
be collected on site and filtered within a seepage bed in the parking lot area. A monument sign is
proposed along Meridian Road.
Notices were mailed to all property owners within 500' of the property and the Neighborhood
meeting was held at City Hall on May 18tn
