Hello my name is Kristen,
I have concerns over the modification request submitted by CSHQA (Linder Village MDA H-2023-0005
I believe the developer is not complying with regulations. For example the upcoming meeting was cancelled because of
them not putting up the correct notifiers. If they can't get something that simple correctly and are trying to sneak
around the system. I have concerns over their abilities to build a 5 story apartment complex and a crystal barn. While
also navigating the growing and dangerous traffic in the area. To me it is clear they are trying to rush development and
not go through the proper channels. The original proposal is much different then the modifications they are wanting to
make.
I am a supporter of an apartment complex in Orchards Park. However, 5 stories does not fit the area. There are no
buildings in that size. No businesses, no homes are as large as this building. The original proposal said the buildings
would match the surrounding area. However this 5 story building will tower over everything in sight. I think 3 stories is
the max height this building needs to be. For the look of the area and also the safety for traffic. By adding all these new
attractions they are creating a swarm of people in the area and need to properly address traffic and safety concerns for
the shopping center and the neighborhoods surrounding it.
Please listen to the concerns of us and not be swayed by a money hungry developer. Do what's best for the people and
the safety of the neighborhood. Please deny their request until they show you their real plans on how to address these
concerns and do things in the correct fashion. Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns.
