Good evening,
My name is Jasmine Mirajkar. I am writing to express my fierce support of Chelsea Major and
4th St. Books. I’ve been following Chelsea’s journey for quite some time now being the Public
Relations Coordinator for a non-profit in Boise called Womeness Community. I also lead the
Women’s Network at Intuit where we love to support women-owned small businesses and
push them to succeed. At Womeness Community, our pillars are mindfulness, movement,
and community and we are so proud to be supporting Chelsea’s dream as it hits every one
of them. I’m looking forward to the creation of a space for the community to gather,
connect, enjoy, and move. I was a Meridian resident for 13 years and would’ve LOVED a
place like this to learn, grow, and support. Being a woman-owned small business, Chelsea
will bring a unique and much needed perspective to the downtown area. This will be within
walking distance of downtown Meridian and I believe it’ll truly enhance the downtown
experience of Meridian. Bookstores breathe life into the communities they’re part of.
Chelsea’s level of support she already has with Pearl House Collective will grow even more
through this Brick + Mortar store. This is what Meridian has needed for a very long time and
the time is now.
I will be there June 27th at 6pm to hear the session in person and I’m looking forward to what
becomes of 4th St. Books.
