Dear Justin,
This letter is for the Meridian City Council in support of your planned residential development
on S. Eagle Road. I wanted to express my support of your request by putting my thoughts on
paper.
My family has lived on S. Eagle Road since 1986 and we have seen the changes associated with
the growth of Boise and Meridian. The construction of the 1-84 Interchange at S. Eagle Road
has transformed this area into one of the most desirable locations in the Treasure Valley. The
Eagle Road Interchange is the first oD/off ramp west of Boise, which makes this area very
desirable for homeowners as well as commercial interests.
Meridian has a unique opportunity in this area to attract both commercial and residential
developments. Commercial. light office. and residential developments continue to expand south
along S. Eagle Road because businesses and homeowners recognize this area is uniquely.1ocated.
We are in the center of the valley, and from here residents have quick access to Boise) Meridian,
Kuna, and Nampa. The area south of Victory on S. Eagle Road is the idea1location for new
residential developments, especially developments like yours that maintain a country feel with
lower density housing, which complements the surrounding area.
