J-U-B FAMILY OF COMPANIES January 20, 2023 City of Meridian 33 E Broadway Avenue Suite 102 Meridian, ID 83642 RE: Narrative for Partial Vacation of Public Utility Easement—Sky Mesa Highlands Subdivision No. 1 Sky Mesa Development, LLC is requesting to partially vacate the northerly side-yard easement on Lot 37 of Block 1 in Sky Mesa Highlands Subdivision No. 1 in conjunction with a Property Boundary Adjustment. The plat which was recorded on September 7,2021, shows a 5-foot public utility side-yard easement on the northerly side of Lot 37, Block 1, and with the Property Boundary Adjustment, we are proposing to shift the northerly line of Lot 37, northerly, approximately 0.50-feet. As such, we would need to vacate 0.50 feet on the southerly side of the northerly public utility easement on Lot 37, and grant a 0.50-foot public utility easement on the northerly side of the southerly public utility easement on Lot 36. There are currently no underground or overhead utilities in the subject easement.We are asking for written permission to vacate 0.50 feet of the 5-foot side-yard public utility easement in Lot 37 of Block 1 of Sky Mesa Highlands Subdivision No. 1. Attached to this submittal are our letters to the utility companies requesting relinquishment letters from them.
