Dear Planning Staff,
We are pleased to submit Chimney Peak Subdivision Short Plat for your consideration.
This short plat is a re-subdivision of Lot 18, Block 24,of Fulfer Subdivision No. 6.The
four residential lots within the short plat vary in size from 29,823 square feet to 8,000
square feet.A fifth lot will be developed as landscaping and a common drive.
In reviewing the short plat,you will find that the short plat meets all the required
findings:
A. As an infill project,the short plat conforms with the comprehensive plan
designation of medium density residential and with the many policies related to
supporting and encouraging infill development.
B. We have provided public services to each of the lots.
C. As an infill project,the short plat is consistent with the city's capital improvement
program.
D. Supporting public services already serve the area and will be extended to the new
residential lots.
E. The development will not be detrimental to the public health,safety,or general
welfare of the City of Meridian.The proposed short plat is consistent with the City's
responsible growth goal to support growth that connects to existing infrastructure
in Meridian.
