To whom it may concern,
I am writing in regards to the little house 4th (909 NE 4th St) in Meridian called the Pearl
House Collective. Case & Chelsea Major are applying for a commercial use for a Bookstore/
coffee shop beer/wine house & I think as a direct neighbor that it is not a good spot for any
retail or customers.
My main concern is parking. There are only 2 parking spots in front of that 800 sq ft house &
the neighbors dont have any parking that we can spare either. So I know people will park in
the alley way and in the empty lots that one of the neighbors grandkids play on directly
behind it. This little house is not a good area for any retail because of the parking & the
safety of the residents around this house.
I realize a book store sounds quiet but the owner stated in the neighborhood preliminary
meeting that her main source of income would be beer & wine & that definitely would not
be a safe spot for that type of traffic.
