HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC - Narritive City of Meridian Planning Division 33 E Broadway Avenue, ste 102 Meridian, ID 83642 RE: Development Agreement Modification Narrative City of Meridian Planning Division, We are proposing to modify Development Agreement AZ 08-014 located at 1150 E Pienza Street in Meridian. The original Agreement was recorded on July 215Y 2009 at the request of the City of Meridian and deputy Viki Allen. The original Development Agreement was for a 42,000 square foot church with similar features to the existing building on the site. Stucco and a stone wainscot with a blue metal roof. The church proposed in the original Development Agreement exceeds the current needs of the congregation. Modifications we are proposing are to reduce the overall size of the new building to 7,400 sqft and change its location on the site. The existing building will remain and some existing parking will remain. In the location of the originally proposed church we will have parking. We also propose to change the materials of the new church. Our proposed church will draw heavily from Midwestern church architecture with a dark gray steep asphalt shingled roof,White horizontal siding and a stone wainscot. This church will feature a white steeple. We feel that this modification will benefit the surrounding community and be a more seamless integration with its surroundings.
