Martinel Road Meridian,ID 83719 Meridian City Council City of Meridian RE: Hearing for Application PP 06-023 for Preliminary Platt approval of NAPOLI SUBDNISION We reside south of this proposed subdivision in the Martinel Subdivision. The Martinel Subdivision is comprised of three tracts, each ten plus (10+) acres in size. The subdivision adjoining Napoli to the East (Zaldien Zerua) is comprised oftive plus (5+) acres. Dartmoor Subdivision to the North of Napoli is also larger lots. A new subdivision, Kingsbridge, adjoining Napoli on the North has average lot sizes of 15,000 feet with frontage of 155-165 feet. The proposed plat is for 29 residential lots and 3 common lots on 9.44 acres. These are very, very small lots. We do not feel that these small lots are compatible with the surrounding area. Small lots, such as these, can only acco:d1modate smaller, inexpensive homes. This, too, does not tit the area. We are concerned that it will lower the value of the existing property in this area and be unsuitable with the present larger, more rural, and open subdivisions. Therefore, we are OPPOSED TO THE APPROVAL OF TIllS PLAT AS PRESENTED. We understand growth, but feel the lot sizes should be no smaller than the new Kingsbridge Subdivision (minimum of15,000 aq. ft. with 155-165 foot frontage). ~~~ ae~ Larry G. t.\llen ~#~ Gladys H.
