HomeMy WebLinkAboutNarrative 2023-01-20_IMH_Ten Mile_CCTHKS Project #25275.0000 Date: 1/04/2023 Intermountain Healthcare Ten Mile CCT, Cath Lab, & CV Clinic Design Narrative The IMH Ten Mile Cath Lab, CV clinic renovations, and free standing CCT building project is located at 867 S Vanguard Way, Meridian, ID. The existing facility is a 4 story, type II -B structure used for B-occupancy health services and is currently provides urgent care, ambulatory surgical, imaging, and PT services on level 1, and clinical health services on levels 2 & 3. The South-East corner of level 3 is shelled along with the entirety of level 4. The site was planned for the future addition of a second 4 story building of a similar nature as building 1 conjoined to the existing building by a future 1 story kitchen / cafeteria (currently shelled). The plan for a future kitchen in the existing level 1 shelled space has been abandoned and is now planned to be located in a the future building 2 to be built to the south of the existing building. New construction and renovations for this submission are for the following: 1. Ambulatory Health Cath Lab services in the level 1 shelled space originally planned for the kitchen/cafeteria, 2.Cardiovascular (CV) clinical health services in the existing level 4 shelled space 3.A type V-B construction, free-standing critical care transport (CCT) residential building for EMS personnel. The site is subdivided into 7 separate parcels including 2 large parcels at the interior (lots A & G) and 5 smaller parcels around the perimeter (lots B-F). The existing facility is located on parcel A and abuts the property line between parcel A and G at the new Cath lab shelled space. The new CCT building is located west of the existing building on parcel A. The new CCT building is planned to be located a min of 20’-0” from the existing building (10’-0” min fire separation distance). The project is located in the “Ten Mile Crossing“ special zoning district which encompasses 308-acres to the north east of the I-84 and Ten Mile Rd intersection. 02/21/23 A-2023-0001
