Please note that staff was recommending that Council continue iteml3 so that we could receive a City Clerk Office
relinquishment from Settler's Irrigation District. We now have that letter, so we are not recommending
the item be continued.
Project: Hastings
Location: W. Everest Lane-Chinden Road and Long Lake Way
Applications: rezone and vacation
Highlights of Proposed Development: rezone 3.13 acres from R-4 to L--O to make zoning consistent with
uses approved through a PD. The request includes request to vacate existing public utilities, irrigation,
and lot drainage easement. Area will be replatted as a short plat. The site is comprised of two recorded
lots in Lochsa Falls Subdivision No. 12. All these lots are currently subject to conditional use approval.
The applicant has provided notarized consent to vacate from all of the maj or utilities including: Idaho
Power Company, Qwest, Intermountain Gas, Cable One and Settlers' Irrigation District.
Other: The notification mentions a DA modification. To our knowledge, one is not required.
