Dear Mayor and Council;
As representative for the South Eagle and Victory Road Property Owner's Alliance, please accept this request to
postpone the public hearing for our annexation and zoning request, scheduled for July 11, 2006. We would like to
reschedule the hearing to the July 25, 2006 agenda to allow us additional time to prepare for the hearing. We just
received the staff report for the Council on Friday, July 7th and would like to be properly prepared to address each
and every comment that pertains to this proposal. We would also like to inform you and your staff that we have
contracted with Shawn Nickel of SLN Planning, Inc. to help us with the presentation. Please be advised that Mr.
Nickel may have full access to our files and may consult with staff and the City of Meridian on our behalf.
Thank you for your consideration in this request, and we look forward to presenting the requested application to
you in full at the July 25th hearing. We see this request as a great benefit to the area, and appreciate the
additional time needed for preparation.
