RE: Kenai Development - Public Hearing June 27,2006
Dear Council Members:
Weare writing to you today to express our concerns regarding the Kenai Development.
1. Privacy - Weare requesting that you plant along the Greenbelt, pine trees and
other landscaping that will provide buffers "year round".
2. Fencing - We would like to see a 6 foot maintenance free fence between the canal
and the Greenbelt.
3. Security - Posting signs along the Greenbelt stating curfew hours. We would
request that it be designed to maximize continuous flow keeping individuals
moving and not provide for sitting places etc. Once again, our back yards would
be visible from the Greenbelt and our privacy would be compromised.
4. Lighting - Weare asking that you consider lighting that will not be intrusive that
will glare thru our windows at night and onto our patio that we enjoy and
entertain on.
5. Grading Elevation - It was discussed by the Council Members and Concerned
Homeowners at the May 4,2006 Public Hearing that the grading be done
aggressively on the southside of the development so that the height elevation
could be reduced helping preserve some of our view.
Please consider our concerns so that we can protect and enjoy our home and quality of
life.
