Subject:Proposed apartments on Ten Mile and McMillian

Dear Mayor and Meridian City Council,
We are writing to request you deny, once again, the proposed 245-unit apartment complex to be built behind
Walmart on 10 Mile and McMillian. There are so many reasons a large complex like this would be extremely
detrimental to this area! To name a few; adding approximately 500 cars to the already crowded roads. The developer
has requested that traffic be routed onto McMillian via San Vito Way. This would be a disaster for those
homeowners who have to fight all those cars just to access McMillian road. Pleasant Grove Elementary is near
capacity and adding all those children, who will certainly be enrolled there, is another overwhelming reason for a
denial to this project. It is such a small parcel of land for that many people and cars to occupy, and as homeowners,
our quality of life will certainly be diminished. These large apartment complexes need to be built away from
neighborhoods! For the stated concerns, and many others, we request another denial to this apartment complex.
Thank you for your consideration and your service to the Meridian community.
