Dear City Council members, thank you for taking the time to review our comments. We live on the north side of Bridgetower West and are very concerned about the proposed apartment project going in between us and Walmart. Alpha Development has worked hard to redesign their project as I had very specifically requested that the townhouses look like "modern farmhouse" in design and they have complied with the revamped design. However, a couple of things that are additional observations; This project is designed to have the road on the north end of the apartment complex exit out on to Vicenza and cross eastward going through the Walmart complex to get to Ten Mile. It was spoken about that this is a way out of the complex so it lessens the impact on the other 2 ways out which dump onto McMillian to the south. The road on the north end of Walmart is a service road only on private property. It is not a public maintained road. I have attached pictures to give you a better idea of how this road is narrow and not designed for all this additional traffic, and there is the possibility that the land owner, Walmart, may not want all this wear and tear on their road. Speculation on my part only but a possibility none the less. Secondly, I have been watching all year long and varying times of the day, families, kids on bikes, trying to cross McMillian from the southside of our subdivision to go north on San Vito, either to the clubhouse amenities and to school. Some of the scenes were dangerous as best with the increased traffic we now have on McMillan. This looks like a nice complex, however, at this place in time, it's a landlocked project. Thank you very much. 1 Janice Borchard 5466 N. Botticelli Ave. Meridian, Id 83646 2 11 .ii f . J in m 4 f _ av v<a '} k aN : m1a 11 - s x Y ;ijjz 1.1r VFW A / Y V !
