Dear Council Members:
My name is Roger Soucy. My
wife Denise and I live in the
Bridgetower West community
north of McMillan Road. We
moved into the Bridgetower
West community in late 2020
and invested heavily to live
in this quiet community and
home that we believe is our
dream home. We both

believe in doing the right
thing and caring for those
around us.
We are opposed to approval
of CR-2022-0006 (Previously
proposed as CUP H-2022-
0047), for the following
reasons:
McMillan Road is a two lane
road and cannot possibly
handle the increased traffic
that would occur if these
apartments are built. It

would be a traffic
nightmare. This project
would also devalue our
home, which we invested
heavily into.
There are numerous
apartments being
constructed north of us
near the new Costco, east
of us on McMillan and along
Black Cat to the South of
us, which are more than
adequate multi-family
residences in our area.
The proposed project is
sandwiched in and between

communities of single
family residences, and an
apartment complex will
definitely not be
harmonious or compatible
with the community of
single family residences.
Please, please deny the
permit to allow this
apartment complex from
proceeding.
