As a concerned citizen of Meridian we feel that building apartments on this section of land is irresponsible. It will definitely become a traffic nightmare for our subdivision plus McMillan. Especially since they want to put and exit road on San Vito Rd.. Trying to get onto McMillan is getting extremely hard, with all the homes being built on McMillan and Blackcat. McMillan is a a one lane road in both directions. My backyard faces McMillan and I have witnessed numerous times the back up of cars on McMillan trying to get thru the 4 way stop on Blackcat. The traffic has only gotten worse as we have lived here. Consequently trying to get out of our subdivision is impossible, when that occurs. By you adding 234 apartments that will create a minimum of 400 extra cars. Plus yesterday when I was trying to leave our subdivision a school bus stopped on San Vito and McMillan to let grammar school children off the bus. The traffic on McMillan was busy but trying to have those children exit the bus to get across the street was very dangerous. Yes the cars stopped yesterday, but accidents due happen when people are not observant to their surroundings. We already lost a teenager because of traffic on Ten Mile and Pine. Would hate to see that happen again. Please rethink this project, and what impact it will have on the immediate neighborhood.
