Dear Mr . Dodson ,
Idaho Transportation Department ( ITD ) has received the application for case number H2022 -0072 located at 3100 N
Centrepoint Way, Meridian , Idaho for review and has the following comments :
1 . This project abuts the State Highway 55 ( SW55 ) .
2 . No direct access to the State Highway system is requested with this application and none is approved .
3 . Traffic generation numbers were not provided with this application . Based on the size of this proposed
development and its proximity to SH - 55, ITD is requesting that the applicant provide a Traffic Impact Study
(TIS ) reflecting full build out which includes the intersections E Ustick Road and SH - 55 and E Seville Lane and
SH - 55 . lTD needs more information on the trip generations to determine what mitigations, if any, that the
applicant may be required to construct on the State Highway system . Any necessary mitigation for traffic
impacts identified by the TIS shall be the responsibility of the applicant to install .
4 * An Approach Permit must be submitted with the TIS .
5 . Any addition , modification , change use , relocation , maintaining, or removal of an encroachment of the state
highway or use of highway right�of�way for any purpose other than normal travel , shall obtain an
Encroachment Permit to use state right� of�way .
6 . Idaho Code 40 - 1910 does not allow advertising within the right� of-way of any State highway .
7 . The Idaho Administrative Procedures Act ( IDAPA ) 39 . 03 . 60 governs advertising along the State highway
system . The applicant may contact Justin Pond , Program Manager for ITD' s Headquarters Right-of-Way Section
at ( 208 ) 334- 8832 for more information .
8 . ITD plans to widen SW55 in the future . ITD will need dedication of right� of�way along the applicant' s parcel as
the development proceeds .

The City is reminded that SH -55 corridor is already congested . This project will increase the number of vehicle trips in
the corridor . As the City continues to add additional trips to the corridor through development, the congestion will
worsen until the roadway system is ultimately overloaded and fails .
ITD reserves the right to make further comments upon review of submitted traffic generation data or other
documents .
