Project Narrative
The proposed building at 1256 S. Rackham Way will be a commercial office building for
Medical, Dental & Aesthetic uses. The building is owned and operated by Carrie Thomas, of
Allante Life Med Spa. The building will be all new construction - 26,487 square foot two-story
office building. Allante Life Med Spa will occupy the entire main floor. Dr. Lao’s Dental practice
will occupy half of the upstairs & the remaining position upstairs will be a future tenant.
The exterior is modern style with low sloped roofs, parapets and clean lines. The exterior will be
white stucco with light colored stone accents, warm wood siding, dark roof & trim, a flat roof over
the entry piece, and dark trimmed architectural windows & fascia. The size and scale of the
building are similar to the other nearby commercial buildings. The front elevation features a
grand entry way with a covered patio above & a landscaped plaza on the main level.
Complementary landscaping will accent the building, parking stalls and sidewalks. There will be
sidewalks all around the building, and adjacent to the parking for pedestrian access. Along the
sides of the building and in parking islands native trees and plants will be planted.
