Hello,
My family and I currently reside in the Bridgetower West neighborhood and we have
legitimate concerns about this apartment complex being approved. First and foremost is the
lack of infrastructure (roads, schools, etc.) to support more people in this area! Already it can
be hard to turn out of our neighborhood onto McMillin, and it is unsafe for us to access the
south side of our neighborhood via bike or by walking because McMillin is so busy & there is
no crossing light. The roads IN the neighborhood get blocked up during school drop off and
pick up due to the school also.
There is already a new apartment complex being finished up near Costco that will be
bringing a ton of new traffic with it! We haven’t even seen the impact of THAT yet… so to
add more at this point isn’t responsible city planning in our opinion.
Traffic in this town is too bad already, & infrastructure HAS to catch up BEFORE we keep
allowing more people to plug up the roads. Please deny this request.
