Nampa &Meridian Irrigation District (NMID) requires a filed Land Use Change Application to review
prior to final platting. NMID operates three separate facilities that course through the northwest corner
of this project.
All private laterals and waste ways must be protected. The Districts easement for the Von Lateral at
this location is a minimum of forty feet (40') total, twenty feet (20') from centerline each side. The
Districts easement for the Kennedy Lateral at this location is a minimum of fifty-five feet (55') total,
twenty feet (20') left and thirty-five feet (35') right facing downstream. The Districts easement for the
Ten Mile Drain at this location is a minimum of one hundred feet (100') total, fifty feet (50') from
centerline each side.
This easement must be protected. Any encroachment without a signed License Agreement and
approved plan before construction is unacceptable.
All municipal surface drainage must be retained on site. If any municipal surface drainage leaves the
site, NMID must review drainage plans. Developer must comply with Idaho Code 31-3805. Please feel

Enclosed you will find a Land Use Change Application to file with the Irrigation Dish•ict for its review
on the above -referenced development.
If this development includes a pressurized urban irrigation system (PUIS), please also fill out the
enclosed PUIS questionnaire. I encourage you to coordinate with this office on specifications for and
installation of the pressure system.
Please submit the completed application, three sets of plans and payment to the District's main office at
1503 First Street South Nampa, ID 83651. If time is of the essence, I recommend paying by cashier's
check, money order or cash. Applications submitted with company or personal checks will not be
processed until the check has cleared.
