HomeMy WebLinkAboutComp Plan Amdmt 05-002 BEFORE THE MERIDIAN CITY COUNCIL C/C 06-06-06 APPLICANT ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ORDER DENYING THE REQUEST FOR A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT IN THE MATTER OF THE REQUEST TO CHANGE THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN CP A 05-002 C2B DEVELOPMENTS The above entitled matter having come on for public hearing on June 6,2006, and Dave McKinnon appeared and testified on behalf of C2B Developments, and the City Council having duly considered the evidence and the record in this matter therefore make the following Decision and Order: 1. The Applicant, C2B Developments, requested a Comprehensive Plan Amendment pursuant to Idaho Code Section 67-6509 2. The Applicant requested to change approximately 11.79 acres from Office to Mixed-Use Community. 3. The provisions ofIdaho Code Section 67-6509 govern the conditions upon which the City may exercise its authority to amend the Comprehensive Plan, but the exercise of that authority is discretionary as determined by the City Council. ORDER DENYING COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT BY C2B DEVELOPMENTS PAn"'l ('Ie., DECISION AND ORDER NOW, THEREFORE, BASED UPON THE ABOVE, the City Council does hereby order: That the Applicant, C2B Developments, request is denied for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment to change approximately 11.79 acres currently zones as Limited Office (L-O) to Mixed-Use Community (MU-C). By action of the City Council at its regular meeting held on the day of ,2006.
