Tahiti St. Meridian, ID 83646 Ada County Parcel No. R7366240340 Dear Francoise Mulikuza: It has come to the City’s attention that the neighborhood meeting that was held for the Joy Childcare application, AUP-2022-0006 did not comply with Meridian City Code 11-4-3-9.A.6 and 11-5A-4.B. Therefore, a new neighborhood meeting must be held. You are allowed to continue operating the in-home daycare while this issue is corrected, but another neighborhood meeting must be held to avoid revocation of the permit. You must schedule, host, and then notify the Planning Department that you held a neighborhood meeting for your Joy Childcare Accessory Use Permit application for the above-listed property by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2022. This process includes all of the following requirements: 1. At least five (5) days prior to the neighborhood meeting, notice of the neighborhood meeting shall be provided to all property owners of record within one hundred (100) feet of the exterior boundary of the application property. (A list of property owners that need to be invited to the neighborhood meeting is attached.) 2. The neighborhood meeting shall be held on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday (excluding holidays), and must start between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Mayor Robert E. You must provide a sign-in sheet and offer to all persons attending the neighborhood meeting the opportunity to sign it. (A sample sign-in sheet is attached.) 4. The location of the meeting must be within five (5) miles of the proposed daycare, or at Meridian City Hall. 5. After you have held the neighborhood meeting, notify the Planning Department of the date and time it was held, and submit the neighborhood meeting sign-in sheet. Your immediate attention to this matter is needed in order to complete these requirements by October 14, 2022. If these requirements are not met by that time, your permit to operate the daycare may be revoked. Please contact me if I may answer any questions regarding these requirements.
