RE: Victory Road & Meridian Road Site — ITD Development Condition Memo
Dear Mr. Watson,
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has completed our review of the Victory Road and Meridian Road
Site Traffic Impact Study. The proposed development is located in the northwest quadrant of the intersection of
SH-69 (Meridian Road) and Victory Road in Meridian, ID. The proposed development is proposing a right-
in/right-out access at approximate MP 8.06, left, approximately 350 feet south of Victory Road .
The department finds the development's proposed access acceptable with the following conditions:
• Remove existing site accesses on SH-69.
• Relocate proposed access approximately 120 feet south .
• Design and construct a 12-foot wide southbound right-turn lane to the maximum length feasible without
modifying the Ridenbaugh Canal crossing structure.
o Dedicate a minimum of 12 feet of right-of-way along SH-69 to accommodate a 340-foot southbound
right-turn lane for the proposed access. Dedicated right-of-way shall be sufficient to accommodate
widened pavement and any drainage facilities required due to pavement widening.
• Design and construct median traffic separator to restrict proposed approach to right-in/right-out
movements .only. Modify pavement markings for northbound left-turn lane to begin turn lane at south end
of median traffic separator.
Please submit an ITD-2109 encroachment application complete with engineered drawings and temporary traffic
control plans to itdd3oermits0itd.idaho .aov. My staff will work with you on reviewing and accepting these
documents prior to issuance of an approved permit. No work may begin in ITD's right-of-way without an
approved permit.
