This agreement is entered into this 22 day of MARCH , 19 95 , by
and between the City of Meridian, State of Idaho, hereinafter "City" and INTERMOUNTAIN
ANIMAL _HOSPITAL, hereinafter "Vendor'.
I. PERIOD OF AGREEMENT
The period of Agreement shall be from January 1, 1995through December 31,
1999 , unless terminated earlier by either party as set forth in Paragraph 46.
II. PURPOSE
The purpose of this Agreement is to set forth the rights and obligations of the parties
with reference to this issuance and sale of dog licenses pursuant to the Meridian City
Code 8-112, in order to encourage and facilitate the licensing of all dogs within Meridian.
III. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. City of Meridian shall issue to the Vendor, license tags, links and registration
cards as requested by each Vendor. The City of Meridian shall also issue a reporting form
for sales.
2. License fees shall be as follows:
Non -neutered or non -spayed dog $10.00
Neutered or spayed dog 5.00
Duplicate License Fee 1.00
3. Meridian City licenses may be purchased only by residents of Meridian.
4. Monthly, Vendors shall deposit with Meridian City Clerk receipts from license

4. Monthly, Vendors shall deposit with Meridian City Clerk receipts from license
forward a copy of the monthly reporting form to the Meridian City Clerk. The clerk shall
reconcile reports and receipts.
5. Vendor shall return all unsold licenses, links and registration forms to the
Meridian City Clerks Office by December 31 of each year.
6. Termination of Agreement may be made by either party upon thirty (30) days
written notice to the non -terminating party. Said notice shall be appropriately addressed
as follows:

Upon termination, Vendor shall return all unsold licenses, links and registration forms to
the Meridian City Clerk.
7. This Agreement and its performance shall be construed in accordance with
and governed by the laws of the State of Idaho. Should any of the terms, provisions, or
paragraphs of this Agreement be held in a court of law to be invalid, it is recognized by the
parties herein that said terms, provisions or paragraphs so held invalid may be stricken
and the remainder continue in effect.
